A RIVER BECOMES AN OCEAN 

MLAMBO means river

The name refers to the water people of the Gariep, a river of profound regioal significance. Originating in the Lesotho mountains as the Senqu, it courses into the South Atlantic, touching the western coasts of Southern Africa, home to the African penguin, a  rare bird that has bred, fed and played along these shores for millennia.

This enduring bond between river and penguin shapes my brand and my signature silhouettes.
